Blue Pencil Institute’s president Dr. Laura Hills described our presence on Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, and in print during a segment she filmed today on The Arnette Report. The popular half-hour Northern Virginia cable television program focuses on best practices in business marketing. The show is hosted by and named for Karin Arnette (an advertising specialty expert and owner of Karin’s Custom Images), and Jeff Arnette (a marketing, presentation, and performance coach).
Dr. Hills told the Arnettes about her daily tweets for career professionals and her recent fascination with Pinterest as a fresh way to tell story and deliver content for Blue Pencil Institute clients. She also showed viewers Blue Pencil Institute’s print materials and giveaways, including our famous blue pencil, and how we package them together attractively for our clients. Dr. Hills also included a short description of her professional background and said that “books, books, books” and more speaking engagements are what she foresees on the Blue Pencil horizon.
